A positive development
As indicated in our newsletter of February 5 (accessible via this link), the year 2020 was certainly turned upside down by the covid19 health crisis but we were fortunate to experience, despite everything, a positive development of our activities. The opportunities and projects being numerous, several changes have taken place within the team.
New functions
Indeed, Alexandre Ziegler and Frédérique Fauvarque were respectively appointed Head of Project Management and Head of Energy Strategy Department to oversee the two areas of activity of the company. Congratulations to both of them for the develpment of their skills internally and thank you for their commitment!
New recruits
In addition, and in order to have all the necessary resources to carry out all of our projects, several recruitments were launched at the end of October 2020 with, as a result, an expansion of our team from this month of January.
Energy Engineer
First of all Antoine Cappellen joined WattElse on January 18th as Energy Engineer. Industrial engineer by training, Antoine then successfully completed a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering in 2020. Structured and curious, he is passionate about sustainable construction and therefore strengthens our energy strategy department.
Energy Project Manager
A week after Antoine, it was François Elie who joined us as Energy Project Manager. François successfully obtained a master’s then a doctorate in environmental sciences. His 3-years experience as a researcher in ecology gave him a solid foundation in project management. Experience which he then expanded by working as a Project Manager at Fonroche Biogaz in Normandy.
Pragmatic and detail-oriented, François will be in charge of monitoring and managing infrastructure projects in the photovoltaic, wind and biomass sectors.
A promising year
As you will understand, the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 have been synonymous with evolution and adaptation. We are therefore now a team of 11 people ready to face the challenges of this new year and it is with enthusiasm and dynamism that we welcome Antoine and François to the heart of this great adventure at WattElse!
