Description of your future job:

We are looking for a Building Project Manager with at least 2 to 5 years’ experience in a design office and/or in the field, capable of diagnosing actions to improve the energy performance of buildings and monitoring their implementation.

As a Building Project Manager, you work within a team of multidisciplinary experts in order to carry out studies relating to energy efficiency projects in tertiary and industrial buildings.

Concretely, depending on your experience, you will be required to evolve on the following tasks: 

  • Management of a client portfolio and operational monitoring of sometimes complex missions in energy strategy and project management with our public and private clients in connection with the challenges of energy and environmental transition, which may include, among other things:
    • Meeting with clients and analyzing their needs

    • Technical analyses: establishment, monitoring and analysis of technical studies, sizing of installations, comparison of different technical alternatives, feasibility study, analysis of opportunities relating to the energy transition

    • Technical visits/energy audits of tertiary and industrial buildings to determine needs, areas for improvement and propose renovation scenarios

    • Carrying out pre-feasibility studies on building techniques (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and production of domestic hot water) which aim to pre-size the installations, estimate the investment costs and energy savings and analyze the profitability of investments

    • Drafting of technical specifications clauses, comparative analysis of offers to guide customers in choosing a solution independently

    • Site monitoring and energy savings (energy monitoring)

    • Financial monitoring: budget forecasts, monitoring of project expenses, profitability study and financing possibilities

  • Collaboration and coordination with stakeholders related to projects: customers, internal resources, subcontractors, partners and suppliers including design and engineering offices, technical and environmental specialists, electricity network managers, administrations and municipalities , industrialists, landowners, etc.
  • Implementation and updating of relevant and effective tools as part of the proper monitoring of missions;
  • Communication and lobbying: presentation of projects to private and public actors, animation of working groups internally and with our customers, occasional representation of the company at conferences or major events related to the company’s activities

    About you:

    Beyond the diploma, we are above all looking for a person motivated by a growing sector and in line with the values of the company, namely conviction in the challenges of energy transition, quality and teamwork as well as the search for innovative solutions.

    A training as an engineer, an architect, a master’s degree in economics or environmental sciences (or equivalent) or even a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in the study of technical and energy optimization projects for buildings tertiary and industrial sectors would be appreciable without being required as long as you have a good knowledge of the building and its technical equipment acquired in the field (including energy audit, special building techniques, electricity and site monitoring).

    You like to work independently with responsibilities but you also appreciate teamwork.

    With a natural ability to analyze and synthesize data and results, you have a popularized approach and you enjoy explaining results to clients.

    You are able to write and present a quality report.

    You have a perfect command of French both orally and in writing, school knowledge or a professional command of English and/or Dutch being additional assets.

    Classic computer tools (Office Suite) no longer have any secrets for you and mastery of other software is welcome (Sketch up, Autocad or equivalent, etc.).
